In the very early hours of Thursday morning Nemo gave birth to her first litter of kittens. She spent Wednesday evening insisting that Jupiter stay with her and asking him to come to the kitten room, so we knew it was likely to be that evening. The morning and ever since the birth, she hasn’t stopped purring at her little babies, which she delivered all by herself with no help – well other than Jupiter holding her paw.

There appears to be 2 boys and possibly 2 girls, but time will tell. 3 are either pointed pattern or pale colours one is definitely mink coated and either blue or brown. No indication of if they are tabby or not, it’s far too early to tell.

Kittens from this mating will be 3rd Generation Tonkinese (CSRef register) and not eligible to be shown with the GCCF & but eligible to be shown with TICA. Kittens will be both TCR (mink) and CCP (pointed) patterns and potentially all 4 main colours, Brown, Blue, Chocolate and Lilac, with a potential to be tabby. I will be retaining a girl from this litter, should there be one suitable to further my breeding program and hopefully obtain a show kitten in the future from Nemo’s line.
